NOTES FROM THE NURSE: Please continue to reinforce the 3 C's: CLEAN, COVER, & CONTAIN. CLEAN your hands often using soap and water or hand sanitizer. COVER your coughs & sneezes with tissue or use your sleeve if no tissue is available. CONTAIN germs by staying home if you are sick. You should stay home at least 24 hours after being fever-free without the use of fever-reducing medicines. Let's stay healthy through this cold & flu season!

Reminder: All students need to report to homeroom before going to any meetings, events or clubs. If you do not report to your homeroom teacher, you could lose the privilege to leave homeroom.
Student Council: Meetings will be held every Tuesday at 7:20 unless told otherwise by Mrs. Timm.
PBIS Bird Bucks: Please be sure to turn in your Bird Bucks by Thursday of each week for the weekly drawing.
Lunch Balance: Please make sure your lunch balances are in the positive for this year.
PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention System) Reminders: Students can only use cell phones and wear hats after school hours. Also, gum can only be chewed outside of school not in the building. Cell phones need to be turned off and put away as soon as you enter the building. If you have any questions about the PBIS reminders, please contact a teacher.
Rachel's Challenge: Congratulations to all the students for being recognized for the Kindness Connects Us All Project.
Kindness Connects Us All: Rachel's Challenge would also like to invite you to participate in the September "Kindness Connects Us All" project. It's simple, Mrs. Miller has letter forms outside her office door on the bookcase. Describe briefly an act of kindness that someone did showing that they are your Real Life Hero. Teachers and students are asked to participate in recognizing how your Real Life Hero inspires you by their example, shows incredible strength and courage to you. Since our act of kindness for September focuses on being your Real Life Hero, students will receive a letter from the person that recognizes them as being your Real Life Hero.
